Tri-lakes mls reports 1648 sales of properties so far in 2006, compared to 1591 during the same time last year, a 3.6% increase is unit sales. Surprisingly, the average sales price last year $132,000 compared to $127,000 this year. With a lower average sale price the total volume of sales was virtually identical in the year to year comparison at $210 million worth of transactions according to the mls. The two major developments in the tri-lakes area, Branson Landing and Indian Ridge are instrumental in the growth of listings and home sales in the tri-lakes area.
